created the RUCKUS: I told him that THOSE TWO
UNDERCOVER COPS started it.

He said that there were no undercover cops in the

What he should have done is ask THOSE TWO (2)

Why?

1.  If everyone could tell that these two (2) guys were undercover
cops by looking at them, they certainly weren't very good ones, were
they?

2.  Even if these guys did get assigned to harass you for some reason
(punishment for being so bad at their job, maybe?) why would they
choose the relatively isolated environment of a library?  What did
they gain from that?

3.  If the library personnel know you, what was it about this
situation that caused them to blame you?  Were you agitated and being
loud, while the two guys weren't?  In other words, whether you felt it
was justified or not, were you indeed "creating a disturbance" by that
point? Or do you think the library staff was intimidated by their
"goonishness"  and unwilling to risk getting their asses kicked for
ten bucks an hour?  Sorry, you might be a fine upstanding guy, but I
certainly wouldn't be willing to do that.

4.  I don't believe you mean the library is fascist.  I think you mean
the people who run it are.  But let's look at that.  Webster's
Dictionary defines fascism as: a political philosophy, movement, or
regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that
stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial
leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible
suppression of opposition.

Is there a banned book list in the library?  How is their selection of
anti-Bush, anti-right wing books, or those providing information about
non-mainstream topics or individualistic pursuits?  Can you order
materials that the library does not have, even though they may be
deemed "questionable" by Fascists?

5.  Do you always label everything so quickly and with such
certainty?  Is there a chance you might make a mistake from time to
time?  Is it possible you just had the misfortune to run into a couple
of jerks who decided they didn't like you or did not like being
accused of being cops?

6.  Why did you feel the need to post this in alt.native?  Are you a
member of a First Nation?

7.  Did you hope to gain credibility by letting everyone know your
academic achievements? I graduated magna cum laude too.  Alas, it has
never seemed to serve as any protection against having to deal with
unpleasant people.   In fact, I believe some of the biggest jerks in
the world are quite intelligent and have degrees.  I don't find it to
be a good indicator of character.
